Facilities

The downstairs of the Shames day lodge is where people gear up. There’s also washrooms; a ticket office and retail store; lockers available for annual rent and the ski patrol headquarters.

Panhandler Café, on the second floor, offers a menu of burgers, hot dogs, French fries, poutine, homemade soups and chili. For something on the go, there’s also premade wraps, sausage rolls, veggies, salads and yogurts.

Also on the second floor, Galloway’s Mountain Bar is the heart of the lodge for many folks. Whether you need a hot beverage, a cool drink or a Shames Sneaky Pete, Galloway’s is the place to celebrate. Watch for live music here during special events.

Our front deck, just off the bar, has picnic tables and a BBQ station (operational only on busy days and special events). This is the place to catch some great winter sun!
